Professor of Oncology, Doctor of Medical Sciences.

He has been working at the department since 1994 as an assistant, and then since 1996 as an associate professor of the department. From 2001 to 2003 he was the head of the oncology department of NMU. In 2004 he defended his doctoral dissertation on "Individualization of complex treatment of patients with stage I-II breast cancer." In 2014-2016 he served as Chief Freelance Oncologist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. 3 2016 - Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of NMU. Since 2018, he has been the head of the Educational and Scientific Center for Continuing Professional Education of the IPE of the National Medical University of Ukraine, and is currently a professor at the ESCCPE. Author of more than 235 scientific papers, including 21 patents, 8 manuals and 2 textbooks on ecology. Oncology surgeon of the highest category. Today he works part-time at the Department of Oncology. Chairman of the Advisory and Expert Group of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine "Oncology. Diagnostic and radiopharmaceuticals". Member of the approbation council for the defense of dissertations in "Surgical disciplines", member of the editorial board of the journal "Oncology" and the international "European Union of Medical Oncologists". The main areas of work are comprehensive treatment of patients with breast cancer, skin melanoma, soft tissue sarcoma, is engaged in the development and widespread implementation of reconstructive and plastic surgery in patients with breast cancer. Regularly improves his professional level by participating in scientific congresses, conferences, forums (St. Gallen 2005,2021, Istanbul 2006, 2018,, Munich 2008, 2010, Madrid 2009, Vienna 2016, Dusseldorf 2018,2021. Takes an active part in innovative multicenter clinical trials for the treatment of breast cancer, melanoma, lung cancer, as principal investigator.
